About Queenie

Queenie Wu is a young actor, singer, and musical theatre performer based in Toronto, Canada. She discovered her love for performing at an early age and enjoys telling stories through music, acting, and live theatre. Curious, creative, and full of energy, Queenie embraces every opportunity to learn, grow, and connect with audiences.She is known for her expressive storytelling, strong musicality, and joyful stage presence. Whether rehearsing a new role, learning new music, or collaborating with fellow performers, Queenie brings enthusiasm, kindness, and dedication to every project.Beyond performing, Queenie has a lifelong love for animals. Growing up in a home filled with beloved cats, dogs, and other small pets, she developed a deep compassion for animal welfare from an early age. Inspired by this passion, Queenie has helped organize annual charity concerts and fundraising events supporting the Ontario SPCA. Together with her family, teachers, and community supporters, these initiatives have raised more than CAD $5,000 to help care for animals in need. She believes that music has the power to bring people together, inspire kindness, and create a positive impact for both people and animals.When she’s not on stage, Queenie enjoys playing piano, golfing, swimming, learning ballet, spending time with her family and friends, and discovering new adventures. 2024 — Voices of Young Hearts • Singing with LoveThe First Annual Charity ConcertIn 2024, Queenie launched her first annual charity concert, Voices of Young Hearts • Singing with Love, with a simple but meaningful goal: to use the gift of music to help animals in need and inspire kindness within the community.The concert brought together talented young performers, supportive families, dedicated teachers, and members of the local community for an afternoon filled with music, compassion, and generosity. Through every performance, the event celebrated not only artistic excellence but also the importance of giving back.Thanks to the incredible support of the audience and volunteers, the concert raised over CAD $2,600 for the Ontario SPCA. The Second Annual Charity ConcertFollowing the success of the inaugural charity concert, Queenie continued her commitment to giving back through music by presenting the Second Annual Charity Concert – Hymne à l’amour in support of the Ontario SPCA.Inspired by the timeless message of love, compassion, and hope, the concert brought together talented young performers, families, teachers, and community members to celebrate the power of music while making a positive impact on the lives of animals in need.Through heartfelt performances and the generosity of the audience, the event raised approximately CAD $2,510 for the Ontario SPCA. Baking Kindness, One Cupcake at a TimeIn February 14th 2026, Queenie proudly participated in the Ontario SPCA Cupcake Day fundraiser, joining teachers, classmates, families, and volunteers to support animals in need through a community bake sale.Working together, the team prepared and sold more than 100 cupcakes, welcoming friends, families, and community members to support this special fundraising event. Through the generosity of everyone involved, the fundraiser raised nearly CAD $1,000 for the Ontario SPCA.Beyond raising funds, the event was a wonderful opportunity to share the importance of compassion, teamwork, and community service. Queenie believes that even small acts of kindness—whether baking a cupcake, performing a song, or lending a helping hand—can make a meaningful difference in the lives of animals and people alike.The Cupcake Day fundraiser became another meaningful chapter in Queenie’s ongoing commitment to giving back through both music and community involvement.Highlights* 🧁 Participated in the Ontario SPCA Cupcake Day Fundraiser
